E-commerce App
Shopora
A modern shopping and loyalty experience designed to help retail brands sell directly to their customers.
Shopora is a fictional product concept created by Programming Wizard to show how we plan and design apps. It is not a client project.

03The Challenge
The problem Shopora is designed to solve
Growing retailers often find customers through social media or marketplaces, but the brand has little control over the shopping experience — and little direct relationship with the people buying.
Shopora explores how one branded app can bring browsing, product discovery, loyalty and ordering together, so a retail brand can sell directly and give customers a reason to come back.
04Our Approach
How we would approach Shopora
We would design Shopora around one core journey — find a product, buy it confidently, and come back — then add loyalty and management tools around that journey.
User flow
Home → category or search → product details → cart → checkout → order tracking, with the wishlist and rewards always one tap away.
Information architecture
Products are organised by category, collection and tags, so the same catalogue can power the home feed, search filters and seasonal promotions.
Navigation
A four-tab bar — Home, Categories, Wishlist, Account — keeps the most-used areas reachable with one thumb. The cart sits in the header on every screen.
Business workflow
New orders flow to the admin panel, where staff confirm, pack and ship them. Each status change triggers an update to the customer automatically.
Admin requirements
The business manages products, stock, prices, coupons and orders from a web dashboard — no developer needed for day-to-day changes.
Room to grow
The catalogue, payments and notifications are planned as separate building blocks, so new features like gift cards or multiple warehouses can be added later.
05Key Features
What the product does
The features a first version of Shopora would need — and why each one matters.
Product catalogue
Categories, collections and new arrivals that the business can rearrange from the admin panel.
Search & filters
Find products by name, size, colour or price range in a couple of taps.
Product details
Image gallery, variants like size and colour, stock status and clear pricing.
Wishlist
Save products for later and get notified when a saved item is back in stock.
Cart & secure checkout
Saved addresses, coupon codes and payment gateway integration in a short, focused flow.
Order tracking
Clear status from confirmed to delivered, plus the full order history.
Customer account
Profile, addresses, past orders and preferences in one place.
Loyalty & rewards
Points on every purchase and rewards that encourage repeat orders.
Push notifications
Order updates, back-in-stock alerts and offers the customer has opted into.
Product & order management
A web admin panel to update the catalogue, stock and order statuses.
06User Journey
How it works
The core journey we would design Shopora around, from first visit to coming back.
- 1Discover
Explore products
Browse the home feed, categories or search for something specific.
- 2Decide
View details
Compare variants, check stock and save favourites to the wishlist.
- 3Purchase
Checkout
Confirm the address, apply a coupon and pay securely.
- 4Track
Monitor order
Follow the order from packed to delivered with live updates.
- 5Return
Rewards & repeat
Earn points and reorder favourites with fewer steps next time.
07Key Screens
The screens that matter most
Concept mockups of the most important screens in the journey. Swipe to see them all on mobile.
08Business Value
Why this product matters
What Shopora is designed to do for the business behind it.
- Gives the brand a direct channel to its customers
- Creates a fully branded shopping experience
- Makes repeat purchases quicker and easier
- Supports loyalty and retention workflows
- Gives the business more control over the customer journey
These are intended product benefits of a concept, not measured results from a live app.
09Design Direction
Designed for how people actually use it
Shopora uses a product-first interface with clear visual hierarchy, quick category access and a simplified checkout flow. The design puts products in front without overwhelming shoppers with competing actions.

Products first
Large, consistent product cards and generous whitespace let the merchandise do the selling.
Short checkout
Address, payment and coupon fit on one screen, so buying never feels like filling in a form.
Rewards in view
The member card sits on the home screen, so loyalty is part of shopping rather than a hidden menu.

12From Concept to Production
How we would build it for real
We start with the business workflow, then turn the required features into a clear product scope, design the experience screen by screen, and build the first focused version around the most important user journey.
Step 1
Map the workflow
Understand how the business runs day to day.
Step 2
Define the scope
Turn requirements into a clear feature list.
Step 3
Design every screen
Plan the experience screen by screen.
Step 4
Build the first version
Launch around the most important journey.
