Education App
Learnora
A learning platform for courses, lessons, progress tracking and student engagement — built for coaching institutes and educators.
Learnora is a fictional product concept created by Programming Wizard to show how we plan and design apps. It is not a client project.

03The Challenge
The problem Learnora is designed to solve
Coaching institutes and educators often spread learning across messaging groups, video links, PDFs and paper tests. Students miss updates, lose notes, and have no clear picture of how they're progressing.
Learnora explores a single place for learning: structured courses, recorded and live lessons, study materials and quizzes — with progress that students and teachers can both follow.
04Our Approach
How we would approach Learnora
We would design Learnora around the student's week — what to watch, what to practise, and what's coming up — while giving teachers a simple way to publish content.
User flow
Home → continue the current lesson → read notes → take the chapter quiz → review results → move to the next chapter.
Information architecture
Courses are split into subjects, chapters and lessons. Each lesson can hold a video, notes and a short quiz, so content stays organised as it grows.
Navigation
Four tabs — Home, Courses, Tests, Profile. Home always shows the next lesson, upcoming live classes and progress per subject.
Business workflow
Teachers upload lessons and quizzes, schedule live classes and post announcements; results flow back into each student's progress automatically.
Admin requirements
The institute manages courses, batches, students and teachers, and can see which chapters students are struggling with.
Room to grow
Courses, batches and content types are independent, so the same platform can serve one subject or a full institute with many batches.
05Key Features
What the product does
The features a first version of Learnora would need — and why each one matters.
Course catalogue
Courses organised by subject, level and batch.
Course details
Syllabus, chapters, teachers and what the student will learn.
Video lessons
Short, chapter-wise lessons that remember where the student stopped.
Recorded classes
Missed a live class? The recording appears in the course automatically.

Notes, worksheets and PDFs attached to each lesson.
Quizzes
Chapter quizzes with instant results and answer explanations.
Progress tracking
Completion and scores per subject, so students know where to focus.

Course completion certificates students can download and share.
Notifications
Class reminders, new lessons and test results.
Teacher/admin panel
Upload content, schedule classes and review student results.
06User Journey
How it works
The core journey we would design Learnora around, from first visit to coming back.

Join a course
Browse courses and enrol in the right batch.
- 2Learn
Watch lessons
Follow chapter-wise videos and join live classes.
- 3Practise
Study & quiz
Read the notes and take a short chapter quiz.
- 4Review
Check progress
See scores and completion per subject.
- 5Achieve
Earn a certificate
Complete the course and download the certificate.
07Key Screens
The screens that matter most
Concept mockups of the most important screens in the journey. Swipe to see them all on mobile.
08Business Value
Why this product matters
What Learnora is designed to do for the business behind it.
- Makes learning accessible from one app
- Organises lessons and study materials by course and chapter
- Helps students track their own progress
- Supports structured courses and regular assessments
- Gives teachers a simple way to publish content and see results
These are intended product benefits of a concept, not measured results from a live app.
09Design Direction
Designed for how people actually use it
Learnora is designed to reduce the effort of studying. A warm, optimistic palette, clear chapter structure and a single 'continue' action help students pick up exactly where they left off.

Always 'continue'
The next lesson or quiz is one tap from the home screen — no hunting through folders.
Progress you can see
Completion bars and score trends make steady progress visible and motivating.
Distraction-free study
Lesson and quiz screens hide everything except the content and the next step.

12From Concept to Production
How we would build it for real
We start with the business workflow, then turn the required features into a clear product scope, design the experience screen by screen, and build the first focused version around the most important user journey.
Step 1
Map the workflow
Understand how the business runs day to day.
Step 2
Define the scope
Turn requirements into a clear feature list.
Step 3
Design every screen
Plan the experience screen by screen.
Step 4
Build the first version
Launch around the most important journey.
